Our client are a fast growing and highly respected Energy and Utilities consultancy working as part of a global engineering and Oil and Gas organisation. With a huge client base and incredible IP within their market they are looking to expand and develop more strategic relationships with their client base as well as developing new ones across the EMEA territory.
To this end they are looking for a new business development manager to move them from piecemeal consultant driven business development to long term strategic relationship driven sales culture. The main proposition within this area of the business is high end IP driven bespoke software development which they have an excellent track record in delivering to Utilities and Oil and gas firms. They have an excellent track record in delivering these services as compared to the standard "outsourced development" model by having genuine domain experts in house with relevant industry backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and consultative business develop0ment manager with an understanding of either selling software to Utilities and Oil and gas companies or Bespoke software development across industry. Typical sales cycle is 6 Months to 18 months with a target of roughly ?2 million after the first year so delivering against similar number would be advantageous.
The company plans to expend this business development model across different service lines so there is huge potential for development and promotion for the successful candidate
